On 5 May 2026, at the first EU-Armenia Summit, six Letters of Intent were handed over by the EU to key Armenian companies and Foundations.
These six Letters of Intent reflect the growing engagement between EU and Armenian stakeholders. They showcase that our partnership is already translating into concrete cooperation and opportunities for our citizens and our economies. These non-binding agreements lay the groundwork for future cooperation.
The Letters of Intent contribute to turning the recently announced Connectivity Partnership into tangible outcomes. They also provide an early indication of the strategic initiatives targeted under the EU’s Call for Expressions of Interest in Armenia.
More broadly, they embody the spirit of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) and its Strategic Agenda.
The partnerships in focus
- Amber Capital Armenia – mobilising private equity to connect Armenian SMEs with European capital and standards
- Synopsys Armenia – strengthening semiconductor skills, links between education and industry benefitting Armenia and the European Union’s competitiveness
- Firebird.ai – developing strategic digital and energy connectivity to position Armenia as a regional digital hub
- TUMO Centre for Creative Technologies – scaling digital and creative skills for the next generation
- Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) – boosting people-to-people links and diaspora-driven investment
- Creative Armenia – expanding creative industries and connections with European cultural networks
These Letters of Intent show that EU-Armenia cooperation is moving beyond policy into real economic, technological, and societal links.
