Oana-Silvia Țoiu (born 9 July 1985, Călărași, Romania) is a Romanian politician, entrepreneur and policymaker, who has served since June 2025 as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania. Her academic background includes a degree in Public Communication from the University of Bucharest, and she has a strong entrepreneurial and social-innovation profile: she founded the consultancy Social Innovation Solutions and earlier led a social-enterprise initiative focused on Roma crafts and youth empowerment. She was elected to Romania’s Chamber of Deputies in December 2020, where she later chaired the Labour and Social Protection Committee, and in 2024 was elected one of the vice-presidents of that body. As Foreign Affairs Minister, she has emphasised Romania’s enhanced role in Euro-Atlantic security and reaffirmed support for Ukraine and regional connectivity, signalling a dynamic and outward-looking diplomatic agenda.
