On 20 November, representatives of national and regional governance, as well as international and local policy experts, will gather in Kyiv to discuss the current state of Ukraine’s EU accession process. Together, they will look for the practical steps necessary to strengthen regional readiness. The event will open with a discussion featuring Taras Kachka, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, and Oleksandr Korniyenko, First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, joined by EU representatives and members of the High-level Advisory Groups from Estonia and Poland. Given that around 70% of the EU acquis is implemented at the regional and local level, the following session will highlight successful regional initiatives.
