
Kaja Kallas (born on 18 June 1977 in Tallinn, Estonia) is the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission. Previously, she was Prime Minister of Estonia (2021-2024) as well as leader of the Estonian Reform Party (2018- 2024). Kaja Kallas was a member of the European Parliament in 2014–2018, representing the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe. She was also a member of the Estonian parliament Riigikogu (2011–2014 and 2019–2021). Before her election to Riigikogu, she practiced law.
