
On Monday, April 11, Adina Vălean, Commissioner for Transport will be in Bucharest to open a debate on the Conference on the Future of Europe and engage in discussions with the participants. She will also visit the North Railway station in Bucharest, a strategic refugee point these days, where she will discuss with citizens and Romanian railways representatives engaged in supporting refugees fleeing the war in Ukraine. The Commissioner will also have a meeting with Romanian Prime Minister, Nicolae Ciucă. On Tuesday, April 12, Commissioner Vălean will meet with the Romanian Vice-Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, Sorin Grindeanu. She will also participate in a trilateral video-conference with ministers of transport from Romania, Moldova and Ukraine to discuss how transport operations can support Ukraine and Moldova in maintaining their exports and imports during these difficult times.
